1. Đặt vấn đề Các mô hình Geoid toàn cầu được xây dựng ở dạng lưới (Grid), giãn cách các mắt lưới đặc trưng cho mức độ chi tiết của mô hình Geoid. Mỗi mắt lưới của mô hình gồm vị trí được biểu thị bằng toạ độ trắc địa B, L trong hệ WGS84 và độ cao Geoid N. Khi khai thác mô hình cho mục đích đo cao GPS, dựa vào toạ độ điểm đo trong hệ WGS84, bằng thuật toán nội suy, sẽ xác định được độ cao Geoid N cho điểm đó dựa vào độ cao Geoid của các điểm mắt lưới. Trong thực tế, lưới GPS lại được tính toán bình sai trong hệ thực dụng VN2000, dựa vào toạ độ trong hệ này, sẽ xác định được độ cao Geoid cho các điểm lưới GPS, cách làm này thực chất là đã bỏ qua sự khác biệt độ của cao Geoid tính theo toạ độ VN2000 và tính theo toạ độ trong hệ WGS84. Như chúng ta đã biết, gốc toạ độ địa tâm của hệ VN2000 và hệ WGS84 khác nhau xấp xỉ 200m, cụ thể là: dx=-191,904m; dy=-39,303m; dz=-111,450m Sự khác biệt về toạ độ của hai hệ sẽ dẫn dến sự khác biệt về độ cao Geoid khi sử dụng mô hình Geoid toàn cầu. Đối với những vùng mà bề mặt Geoid khá dốc hay thay đổi nhiều so với Ellipxoid thì sự khác biệt về độ cao Geoid là đáng kể. Trên hình 1 là mô hình Geoid EGM2008 trên lãnh thổ Việt Nam với khoảng cao đều 0,5m.

Computing height anomalies using spherical harmonic coefficients at certain degrees and orders in long-wavelength components2016 •
Height anomaly / geoid undulation) is a basic quantity in geodesy. It can be directly measured from GPS and leveling or computed from gravitational models. This paper introduces program GeoH to compute height anomalies using spherical harmonic coefficients at certain degrees and orders in longwavelength components. By reasonably comparing with official values of EGM96, the reliability of results from GeoH is proved for the long-wavelength components, and then can be applied in the “remove-restore” technique for determining Vietnamese quasi-geoid in near future.

This research aims to explore the antihyperglycemic potential of Viscum cruciatum Sieber ex Boiss., a locally known ethnomedicinal plant called "Parwikh" from the family Loranthaceae, found in Rawalakot, District Poonch, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Pakistan. The plant has been traditionally used for the treatment of type-2 diabetes mellitus by local communities. Due to its hemiparasitic nature and association with host species Quercus incana and Olea ferruginea, it was hypothesized that the plant may possess unique medicinal properties derived from its host interactions for differential cure of diabetes. Traditional ethnomedicinal (TEM) knowledge was collected through Open and closed-ended questionnaires and microstatistical tools, such as informant consensus factor (ICF) and fidelity level (FL for data authentication. Preliminary phytochemical screening of leaf and bark extracts revealed the presence of flavonoids, saponins and alkaloids. For antihyperglycemic analysis, experiments were conducted on alloxan-induced Type-2 hyperglycemic rabbits using methanolic extracts of leaf and bark at concentrations of 500 mg/kg and 1000 mg/kg, administered orally for 7, 15 and 30 days. Blood sugar levels were measured using an ACCU-CHEK-active model glucometer. The results demonstrated that the rabbits treated with 1000 mg leaf extract from the host O. ferruginea exhibited the maximum decrease in blood glucose level (1491.5 mg/dL). The same treatment showed the highest decrease in body weight (25.36%), while the T3-group treated with 500 mg bark extract from the host Q. incana showed a less decrease in blood sugar (8.22%). The same treatment displayed the maximum increase in serum insulin level (5.790.11 pmol/L) on the 15th day of treatment. This study establishes the significant antihyperglycemic properties of the methanolic extract of Viscum cruciatum Sieber ex Boiss from host of Olea ferruginea, validating its traditional use in Rawalakot, AJK territory of Pakistan, for the treatment of type-2 diabetes mellitus. The findings suggest that further comprehensive research on this plant could lead to discovery and the development through optimization protocols as the novel allopathic drugs.

Spectrum of Systemic Auto-Inflammatory Diseases in India: A Multi-Centric Experience2021 •
Background: Systemic autoinflammatory diseases (SAID) are rare inherited disorders involving genes regulating innate immune signaling and are characterized by periodic or chronic multi-systemic inflammation.Objective: To describe spectrum of clinical, immunological, molecular features, and outcomes of patients with SAID in India.Methods: Request to share data was sent to multiple centers in India that are involved in care and management of patients with Inborn Errors of Immunity. Six centers provided requisite data that were compiled and analyzed.Results: Data on 107 patients with SAID were collated—of these, 29 patients were excluded due to unavailability of complete information. Holocene sea-level change and coastal landscape evolution in the southern Gulf of Carpentaria, Australia2018 •
A revised Holocene sea-level history for the southern Gulf of Carpentaria is presented based on new data from the South Wellesley Archipelago and age recalibration of previous research. Results confirm that rising sea levels during the most recent post-glacial marine transgression breached the Arafura Sill ca. 11,700 cal. yr BP. Sea levels continued to rise to ca. –30 m by 10,000 cal. yr BP, leading to full marine conditions. By 7700 cal. yr BP, sea-level reached present mean sea-level (PMSL) and continued to rise to an elevation of between 1.5 m and 2 m above PMSL. Sea level remained ca. + 1.5 between 7000 and 4000 cal. yr BP, followed by rapid regression to within ± 0.5 m of PMSL by ca. 3500 cal. yr BP.
