Base on the Functioning Tourism System (FTS) by C.A. Gunn, 1988 consist of five components that are population, transportation, attractions, services and information promotion, the article bellow shows that the tourism potential is huge for Vietnam cultural heritage. There are many favourable elements such as the large demand of people in the world for cultural heritage tourism, many special and unique cultural heritage or available transportation in Vietnam. However, there are also many limitations such as unprofessional, poor services or the information promotion for cultural heritage tourism is limited. So, two of these elements should be interested more by stakeholders in the tourism development strategy for Vietnam cultural heritage.
