Investigating the origins of Peter Wessel Zapffe’s notion of tragedy in Aristotle’s Poetics: the case of mimesis2020 •
The aim of this paper is to present the philosophical figure of a Norwegian philosopher and writer, creator of biosophy, Peter Wessel Zapffe (1899–1990), and to investigate the origins of his notion of tragedy (tragic experience) which he introduces in his magnum opus Om det tragiske (1941). I attempt to do so by searching its roots in antique theory of tragedy introduced by Aristotle, especially on the pages of Poetics, to which Zapffe himself often refers to. A study of how Zapffe “read” and understood Aristotle’s Poetics, a classical piece for the study of tragedy and tragic experience, seems essential for establishing the roots and foundations of his own vision of tragedy and its functions, finally shifting from the purely literary sphere to the biosophical level of human existence. In this paper I will focus mainly on the notion and art of mimesis, laying the basis for further detailed studies of Zapffe’s biosophical analysis of the subject.

Characterization and biological effects of Hypericum extracts on experimentally-induced - anxiety, oxidative stress and inflammation in rats2018 •
Anxiety disorders can associate with oxidative stress and immune system alterations. Our study aimed to chemically analyze Hypericum maculatum (HM) and Hypericum perforatum (HP) dry extracts and to evaluate their effects along with quercetin (Q), on brain oxidative stress biomarkers: malondialdehyde (MDA), catalase (CAT) and superoxide dismutase (SOD), inflammatory cytokines: interleukin-1α, (IL-1α), IL-1β, regulated on activation normal T cell expressed and secreted (RANTES), interferon (IFN), monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP1), macrophage inflammatory protein (MIP) and serum corticosterone levels. Nuclear transcription factor κB (NFκB) signaling pathway in the hippocampus and frontal lobe in rats with N-methyl-9H-pyrido[5,4-b]indole-3-carboxamide (FG-7142) experimental-induced anxiety were also investigated. The chemical analyses of total hypericins were performed by spectrophotometric analysis and hypericin, hyperforin and polyphenols derivatives were quantified by chromat...
Cities around the world have been hit by the COVID-19 crisis. The worst consequences of the pandemic are closely related to urban areas. Many studies investigated the impact of COVID-19 on people but there are few studies that have investigated the satisfaction level of university students during the COVID-19 lockdown at the neighborhood level. Therefore, the aim of this study is to investigate the satisfaction of university students at the neighborhood level during the COVID-19 lockdown and investigate the experience of online education during that period—if they received any. An online survey was conducted involving university students of different countries, and a total of 427 responses (n = 427) were received and analyzed using the CHAID model. Results show that comfort at residences during the COVID-19 lockdown was affected by the neighborhood environment (viz., greenery, pleasant views, independent housing with gardening facilities), transportation (i.e., saving 1–2 commuting ...

Substitusi Limbah Kangkung Air (Ipomoea aquatica) Terfermentasi Terhadap Performa Ayam Kampung Super BetinaThe purpose of this study was to determine the substitution of fermented water spinach waste (Ipomoea aquatica) in commercial feed on the performance of super free range female chickens. This study used 80 super free range female chickens aged 5 weeks. The research method used was a completely randomized design consisting of 4 treatments, each treatment consisted of 5 replications, and each replication consisted of 4 chickens. The treatments consisted of R0: 100% commercial ration, R1: 90% commercial ration + 10% water spinach waste fermented by tape yeast, R2: 80% commercial ration + 20%water spinach waste fermented by tape yeast, R3: 70% commercial ration + 30%water spinach waste fermented by tape yeast. The results of statistical analysis showed that the substitution of water spinach waste fermented by tape yeast on the performance of super female free range chickens with different treatments gave a significant (P<0,05) effect on ration intake, drinking water intake. But did n...
