Introduction: Cancer diagnosis can have a profound negative impact on the health-related quality of life (HRQoL) of cancer patients. Cancer patients also suffer from psychological pressures including sadness, depression, hopelessness, anxiety and worry. The literature review was employed to determine the effects of depression on health-related quality of life (HRQoL) in cancer patients. Methods: A systematic review was conducted by searching the Science Direct, Scopus and Google Scholar databases. The integrative review of the 10 articles was focused on the 10 years period from 2008 to 2018. The language used was English and the search was conducted using predefined keywords. Results: All of the journals discussed the impact of depression treatment on health-related quality of life in cancer patients. Based on all of the journals, depression can be reduced by health education, physical activity and medicine therapyConclusion: Despite the treatment for depression, the patient’s HRQoL d...

Biodegradable Edible Microbial Cellulose-based Film for Sustainable Packaging from Lab to Land Physicomechanical Study2024 •
'International Journal of Experimental Research and Review ISSN 2455-4855 (Online), Sri Manjusha Varshini. S
Microbial cellulose has been gaining notable glare and publicity in various sectors, including the biodegradable packaging industry. The study emphasizes the development of microbial cellulose-based composite biodegradable, edible biopolymer to engender food and food product packaging. A characterization study of the mechanical property, barrier property, texture profile analysis, and biodegradability test was conducted for the combination, which appears strong enough to be employed as an application after solutions of film-forming polymers with 10 permutations were completed. Significant mechanical and thermal characteristics can potentially be seen in the composite film with the tensile strength of 56.6±3.13 mpa and TGA of maximum degradation of 92% occurred between temperatures 320°C- 360°C. The mechanical properties of biopolymers are improved by microbial cellulose, which acts as a nucleating agent throughout the gelatin (protein) and polyvinyl alcohol (plasticizer) matrix. The biodegradability test of the biopolymer with results of the highest biodegradability (70%) within five months was observed. These properties may be investigated in the context of the food packaging sector.

Epidemiology of Gill Monogenean Parasites Infections in Nile Tilapia Oreochromis Niloticus (Teleostei: Cichlidae) from Agneby River, Côte d’Ivoire2021 •
The Nile tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus is a fast growing fish and has a great importance for fisheries, aquaculture, and screen aquarium in Côte d’Ivoire. Parasitic infections constitute significant economic loss in fish production. The work based on Epidemiology of gill Monogenean parasites of O. niloticus from the Agneby River between August to December 2020, for the first time, was aimed to characterize the physicochemical parameters of this River, to inventory the gill Monogenean species in Nile tilapia, to analyze the parasitism as a function study areas and to highlight the parasite species’ distribution on the gill. A total of 102 specimens of fishes was sampled and examined for parasites. Gill helminthofauna of this fish consisted of Cichlidogyrus cirratus, C. tilapiae, C. halli and Scutogyrus longicornis. Fishes of the Agneby River at Agboville are more infested than the other ones due to environmental conditions. The examination of the two sides of the fish revealed that ...

The Effect of Coffee Pulp Composition with Consortia Variation of Indigenic Bacteria on Plant Growth of Coffee Breeding2019 •
This study aimed to determine formula and dosage of coffee pulpcompost that is appropriate to the growth of coffee in the nursery phase. The research treatment was a dose of coffee pulp compost with variations of bacterial consortia, using three treatments and one control including, 1) 150 grams of coffee pulp with variations of KA bacteria consortia, 2) 150 grams of coffee pulp with a variety of KB bacterial consortia, 3) 150 grams of coffee pulpwith a variety of consortia of KC bacteria in each treatment there were six replications. The results of the study were found to have an effect on the growth of coffee seedling height and did not significantly influence the growth of the number of leaves of coffee seedlings. This study gives an indication of formula C with 15 indigen bacterial isolates producing the best compost at dose of 150 grams for robusta coffee nursery.

Minimization of the electron beam emittance is the major strategy for optimizing a high brightness electron source. Pulse shaping of the photocathode laser is one of the main tools for optimization of modern photo injectors required for a successful operation of linac based free electron lasers. 3-D ellipsoidal photocathode laser pulses are now considered as the next step in the optimization of photo injectors operated in the space charge dominated regimes. Significant improvements in electron beam emittance obtained from beam dynamics simulations using 3-D ellipsoidal photo cathode laser pulses, as compared to the conventional cylindrical pulses, have motivated experimental studies in order to develop a laser system for quasi 3-D ellipsoidal pulses. The Institute of Applied Physics (IAP, Nizhny Novgorod, Russia) is developing such a photocathode laser system in collaboration with the Joint Institute of Nuclear Research (JINR, Dubna, Russia) and the Photo Injector Test facility at D...
