Despite the immense technological advancement, blood bank systems are either manual or valuable data is easily retrievable. Consequently, one of the major issues in blood bank systems, as talked about in many research papers and articles, is the lack of data security. People always doubt whether their personal information and medical records are safely stored and secured. Therefore, our project aims to develop an online blood donation system applying the concepts of database security and encryption. The following is what our project aims to achieve: Any person who is willing to donate blood will have to register first, even if the user is a new donor, or the user can directly login if he/she has an account already. Whenever they want to donate blood, a form will have to be filled. In the user account, the user will be able to view all the details and records of all earlier donations as well as information about upcoming blood donation events. There will be a link provided to find blood donors in the region of the users' choice. All this is related to the blood bank system. Apart from this, we will be using concepts of database encryption to make sure that the users' information is kept secure and confidential. This will help us keep their donation records protected from any threats from individuals with potentially malicious intentions, or any unforeseen hazards to the security of the data.

Nanotechnology has provided new opportunities for the food industry with its applications in food packaging. The addition of nanoparticles, such as clay, silver and copper, can improve the mechanical and antimicrobial properties of food packaging. However, nanoparticles may have an adverse impact on human health. This has led to legislative and regulatory concerns. The inhibitory effects of nano packaging on different microorganisms, such as Salmonella, E. coli, and molds, have been studied. Nanoparticles, like other materials, may have a diverse set of properties that need to be determined. In this review, different features of silver, clay and copper nanoparticles, such as their anti-microbial, cell toxicity, genetic toxicity, mechanical properties, and migration, are critically evaluated in the case of food packaging. Specifically, the viewpoints of WHO, FDA, and ESFA, concerning the nano-silver application in food packaging, are discussed as well.

The number of vehicles in circulation has become a problem both for safety and for the citizens health. Public transport is a solution to reduce its impact on the environment. One of the keys to encourage users to use it is to improve comfort. On the other hand, numerous studies highlight that drivers are more likely to suffer physical and psychological illnesses due to the sedentary nature of this work and workload. In this paper, we propose a model to predict the stress level on drivers and passengers. The solution is based on deep learning algorithms. The proposal employs the Heart Rate Variability (HRV) and telemetry from the vehicle in order to anticipate the incoming stress. It has been validated in a real environment on distinct routes. The results show that it predicts the stress by 86 % on drivers and 92% on passengers. This algorithm could be used to develop driving assistants that recommend actions to smooth driving, reducing the workload and the passenger stress.
