Gender disparity still exists in certain spheres of life today, though it is less visible. When it comes to academic performance, women are expected to outperform most male students in modern society. Both genders experienced beneficial and bad repercussions as a result of these observations and assumptions. There is a large gender disparity in academic achievement, according to studies conducted around the world among students studying at various levels. There is a significant relationship between the gender and the academic performance of the students of the senior high school in Marber National High School particularly on the Grade 11 STEM students. It is observable that female students outperform male students in research subjects, and most male students have lower grade point averages. The highest general average grade among boys, which is 94, is only the third highest grade among girls.

Hubungan Pola Makan dengan Risiko Terjadinya Sindrom Ovarium Polikistik pada RemajaSindrom Ovarium Polikistik (SOPK) merupakan gangguan endokrin yang paling umum terjadi pada wanita dengan konsekuensi luas yang memengaruhi setiap aspek kehidupan wanita, dengan angka kejadian SOPK pada remaja kurang lebih 11-26%. Lebih dari 50% pasien SOPK dikaitkan dengan sindrom metabolik termasuk obesitas, resistensi insulin, dan dislipidemia.Penelitian-penelitian terdahulu mengatakan bahwa pola makan memerankan peranan penting sebagai faktor risiko terjadinya SOPK pada remaja. Maka dari itu pengaturan pola makan sangat penting untuk memperbaiki gangguan hormonal dan efek jangka panjang akibat SOPK, sehingga perlu dilakukan analisis lebih lanjut mengenai hubungan pola makan dengan risiko terjadinya SOPK pada remaja yang berusia 15-19 tahun di Kota Palembang. As the feminist philosopher of the autonomist Marxist tradition Silvia Federici witnessed after visiting various spaces in Athens that emerged between the mobilisations of 2008 and 2015: ‘neither capital nor the state provide any means of reproduction-they exist only as repressive forces, so many have begun to pool their resources and create more collective forms of reproduction as the only guarantee of survival’ (Federici and Sitrin 2016). During the last wave of neoliberalisation, the slashing of social protection, coupled with the destruction of waged labour and insufficient incomes, unfolded a crisis of social reproduction and care with important relevance in the southern European peripheries (Hadjimichalis 2014; Hadjimichalis and Hudson 2014; Lekakis and Kousis 2013; Zechner and Hansen 2015).

This chapter explores the strategies and ideologies of two teachers who, each in their own way, try to mobilize the languages of young plurilingual learners (aged 3–4 and 5–6) in a pre-school situated in a marginalized area in La Reunion, a French island in the Indian Ocean and central hub of migration for families from neighbouring islands. We argue that translanguaging crossed with subaltern studies can be a powerful approach to deconstruct othering processes. Following this analysis, we propose a model for teacher education that includes three main objectives to rethink inclusion and social justice in a French post-colonial context.
