Heavy metal. Waste sludge from electroplating system contains high content of heavy metals. killed or decomposed by sufficiently high concentration of heavy metal [1-3].. Currently, heavy metal rich sludge is mainly treated by solidification then disposed/land filled and incineration. However, in Vietnam treatment and utilization of the heavy metal rich sludge has not sufficiently been studied and implemented.

Prior to the chemical analyses, the surface water from Xuanhuong lake was thawed then sub-samples were taken and prepared for cyanobacterial toxin, microcystin, heavy metal and herbicide/pesticide analyses. Xuan Huong lake (left) with sampling site (the longer arrow and right).. Pesticides/ herbicides from the surface water were analyzed by adding 100 mL water sample into 250 mL glass then extracted by the solvent (n-hexane and dichromethane).

It means that, the sea water surrounding peanut-worm flats is not yet polluted by heavy metals.. Similarly, the content of heavy metals in sediments of peanut-worm flats (Table 3) shows that the content of most elements (as adsorbed. So, the sediments in peanut-worm flats in Quang Ninh are still not yet polluted by heavy metals.. The distribution of peanut-worm in relationship with geo-environment factors.

However, the structure and dynamics of rarefied [25] and densified silicate glasses containing heavy-metal oxides, as far as the authors know are still in debate.. The present contribution is a molecular dynamics (MD) [26] study of the structure of rarefied and densified lead-silicate glass of the PbSiO3 composition. Distribution of coordination units SiO x (left) and PbO x (right) as a function of pressure.

It is one of the rare transition metal halides that is a liquid at room temperature, VCl4 being another example. This configuration leads to highly symmetrical structures, hence the tetrahedral shape of the molecule. Evidence exists that certain arenes form complexes of the type [(C6R6)TiCl3. The conversion takes place by the reduction of the chloride with magnesium metal, and yields titanium metal and magnesium chloride.
