The mechanical properties of the PVC/clay composites depended on the alkyl amin used for modification of clay. Among these clays, B166 exhibited the highest reinforcement effect of the PVC/dioctylphtalat (DOP) mixture. B166 improved mechanical properties of the PVC/DOP mixtures if clay content ≤ 2 %.wt. The FESEM images revealed nanoscale structure of the PVC/B166 composites, but some parts performed in microscale.

The sintering temperature and Cu concentration are important parameters which influence TSL properties of the material. Figure 1 and 2 show the TSL-response as a function of Cu concentration and sintering temperatures. Evaluation of the homogeneity was carried out with 10 samples taken from a given batch and irradiated at the same radiation dose.
